Crystals and Gemstones are magical, in the true meaning of magic which is defined as being part of the natural wonders of the Earth. Crystals, gemstones and Minerals are part of the Earth-Herself since fully a third of the composition of our planet is made of quartz, and the silica and water that crystal is composed of are also major components of our physical bodies. Quartz is fossilized water and our bodies are 98 percent water. The Earth's magnetic field is crystal and gemstone vibrational energy and so it is the magnetic filed of the human ‘aura’. Crystals and Gemstones can and are being used as tools for energy rebalancing when human frequencies need alignment or healing. We are all a part of the Earth (Gaia) and so are the gemstones, minerals and crystals found within Her.

Healing is an ongoing process and occurs on the largest scale in accordance with the natural processes that have been created within us and all facets of Universe. We can assist our ‘wellness’ by harmonizing with the Universal energy patterns built into nature. The mineral kingdom has been extremely useful in healing from before recorded history. Their purity and patience are a fine role model for us in a time when we need both. Crystals and Gemstones have been consistently used in many ancient cultures, While there has been little literature previously available on their use in ancient Atlantis and Lemuria, some material has been written on how gemstones have been used in various cultures in the last few thousand years. The records of ancient Egypt and India exemplify this.

Gemstones have always been used by healers. because of their current energy activation they are now becoming an even more primary factor for healing people and the Earth. As the Crystals are opening and healing, their extended frequencies also heal people by opening, tuning, and programming our Chakras and *Auras.

Choosing a Crystal or Gemstone

In choosing a gemstone, mineral or crystal, hold it in your left hand. The left side of the body brings energy/information in more strongly than the right side for most humans, whether they are right or left handed. Close your eyes, take a breathe, still your mind, and focus on the stone. Notice what you sense and feel, both from the stone and in yourself. If you are new to crystal work, learning to sense energy may take some practice. Gemstone and Crystal energy is delicate and subtle, and the sensations will be delicate and subtle as well. if you perceive no sensation after several minutes, try switching hands, or try a different crystal or gemstone. Notice your mood and if there has been a change in it. Place your attention on how you feel! You may feel a tingling sensation, you may be aware of bright lights or colors, you may feel vibration, energy waves, magnetic sensations, heat, or cold.

You may be given information in words, impressions or images. The sensations are uniquely yours and no-one else’s, the sensations are a part of your energy vibration in combination with that of the stone or crystal. You will know if the stone is positive for your use in healing and if it is a good choice. Trust Yourself and your Intuition, your Higher Self at work.

Chakra Cleansing with Crystals and Gemstones

For Chakra healing, cleansing, opening or tuning-lay down comfortably and place the corresponding stone or a clear quartz crystal on each of the Chakra points on the body.(Please go to our Chakra section for placements, or refer to our great authors and titles.) By enhancing the positive flow of energy throughout your body/mind system, this technique will help bring up, recognize, and clear emotional blocks. Utilize the power of prayer, chanting, toning and beautiful music. Use your visualization and imagination whenever you work with the stones. Your imagination is the most valuable tool you possess for creating any reality you choose. Reality is what you Dream it to be.
