Summer Poem

the light from the window
its shades in the background
of everyones story
of life and of death
the night from the darkness
it creeps all alone
but as long as you're with me
everything is allright
reach out from your shadow
and pull in the sunlight
feel warmth from the people
who love you and care
dont dwell on the bad things
and look for tommorow
for things they will change
if you just let them go
some people they wait
for the moment of dying
to realize everything special they have
what losses they've dealt with
they seem just to leave them
for once in a while they let go of the past
if everyone looks and sees something thats special
and lets all there enimies fly far away
maybe today we'll live somewhat better
if only if only they could keep it that way
