These all natural resins are from authentic botanical
origins
and may be burned and compounded for the ultimate aromatic experience.
Great for scent and ceremony, the burning of resins has a deep history
throughout the worlds
many religions and have continued to be used for ceremonial purposes
to this day.
Made from 100% natural tree and plant resins and containing
no synthetic fragrances, binders, or other burning agents.
Incense
Resins and Powdered Incense Blends are normally burned on charcoals.
I have kept the traditional essence of some of the Resins
but have added my own special ingredients in the 'Blends'
Please be careful when burning them, there will be a lot of smoke
and heat.
It's best to scrape the top of the charcoal from time to time to
allow
the essence of the particular Resin or Blend to shine through.

Resins & Gums
Frankincense
Frankincense is a resin that exudes in drops when it's tree bark
is damaged,
and the resin is collected and used in ritual and religious ceremonies.
The Ancients used to prize this resin more than gold,
they thought the fragrance was an invisible thread to heaven
and would attract the Gods and Goddesses attention.
Myrrh
Myrrh gum has been used from remote ages
as an ingredient in incense and perfumes.
It was known as the holy oil of the Israelites and the
Kyphi of the Egyptians for embalming and fumigation's.
The fragrance is aromatic and normally used for
cleansing and healing
and always goes hand in hand with Frankincense.

Copal
Tree
COPAL
I
have featured 3 Copal varieties .
Copal is considered the Food of the Gods
by
the Mayan, Aztec and Inca people.
Copal
Blanco
The most widely used type of Copal-pure and sweet.
Dark
Rich Mayan Red Copal
A rare variety, rich, dark and sweet .
This is a deep and powerfully spicy resin that resembles a Benzoin
and cinnamon mixed together.
I use Dragons Blood as a base
in many of my Powdered
Incense Blends and I also just burn it alone.
This resin has strong Antiseptic and Bactericide properties so is
very useful in cleansing or purifying.
In
ancient China this resin was considered to be a powerful aphrodisiac
and was reputed to posses the power to make an errant lover return.
Dragons Blood Resin is imported from Bombay and Zanzibar,
the East Indies and Mexico.
Very powerful and lovely to burn!
