Welcome to Hippie Godesses 2 FREE LOVE The term free love first appeared in the mid-nineteenth century in the United States, where it described a movement that rejected state and church interference in personal relationships. While the phrase is often associated today with promiscuity, free love movements have historically been more interested in personal freedom than advocating multiple sexual partners; as such, they are also unrelated to institutionalised polygamy. A notable free love proponent was the feminist Victoria Woodhull, who became the first woman to run for presidency in the U.S. in 1872. The year before, she wrote: "Yes, I am a Free Lover. I have an inalienable, constitutional and natural right to love whom I may, to love as long or as short a period as I can; to change that love every day if I please, and with that right neither you nor any law you can frame have any right to interfere. And I have the further right to demand a free and unrestricted exercise of that right, and it is your duty not only to accord it, but, as a community, to see that I am protected in it. I trust that I am fully understood, for I mean just that, and nothing less!" And the Truth Shall Make You Free (November 20, 1871) Anarchist
free love movements continued into early 1900s in bohemian circles

"Maybe a guy could fall instantly in love, but I doubt it. I think love creeps over you like a warm feeling on a clear blue fall day. This person is in your thoughts most of the time-all of the time actually. You see her when you close your eyes, when you look off into the distance, when you pause from what you are doing and take adeep breath. You remember how her fingers felt when they touched you. The loved one becomes a part of you, the most important part. At least it is that way with me when I think of you." -Author Unknown- See 100's of HOT photos of Athena in many locations and moods.. just click the banner below!
