Walking along
one night
moon overhead, leaves underfoot
the delicate crunch of each step
my only company in the guiding light.
My head was down, watching each step
the deep colors of fall leaves...
brown...red...orange, yellow
all misted with dew.
Flicker. A dancing light.
Jack O Lanterns in my sight?
Oh, What was that I saw?
Again, a twinkle, and dust from fairy wings
Spirit...that is what it was.
No barren realm I walked in...
a patch of timber filled with spirit...
lighting up eyes like candles
behind the carvings in a pumpkin's orange flesh.
Fairies fluttered here and there
some behind the branches
of a slumbering tree.
Fighters lined up in ever moving rows,
everyone sharing the spirit that filled them,
everyone spreading the spirit that willed them.
The site fight come together for a party
All the sights I saw, and the brightest smile
among them was upon my own face.
To see such spirit in motion, laughing, spreading...
A fairy's dream come true.

are gathered in a ring
You can hear the Wee Ones sing
A celebration is happening
Just what is this wondrous thing?
I stopped and asked, a bit in awe,
The first Wee One who I saw
Look up at the crowd who came
Asking just what is the name
Of whatever's happening here?
It's Spirit, she said drawing near,
That brings us to this Special Site
Where we can Shout Out for the Fight
That really isn't one, you know,
'Cause the Spirit really makes it so
Much more like fun than fightin' here
We just can't help ourselves - we CHEER!

A fairy lives
inside this tree,
I'm sure it must be so.
For I can hear her whispering,
When the summer breezes blow,
And I can see her flowing hair
Flash green-gold in the sun.
As she nods to all the shodowy things,
That hug her feet or run,
Along the edges of the wind
At night her leafy locks are pinned
with silver stars and on her wrist
she wears the new moon in a twist.
A fairy can be found here,
that much I am sure of.
For I have see her here dusting,
When the moon is high above.
For I have seen the spirit that,
she leave behind for us to find.
And the gifts galore we find.
Along the site here, within,
She leaves a spirt stick for us to send.
to friends and family here and there,
and someone elses lair.
A spirit stick was given to me for free,
to pass along with care,
to sites a cross the web, both far and near.
to spead a little chear for them,
and help them along the passes,
to make new friends here and there,
and to help keep the site fights spirit up
so apart we don't tear.
and say close friends for here on after.
