The Elder Futhark The
Germanic Elder FUTHARK runes,
are perhaps the most common rune symbols still used today.
They come as a set of 25 including the blank rune 'Wyrd'.
We don't know for sure when or by whom it is originated,
but it might be among Germanic tribes in the beginning of our era.
The Elder Futhark Runes were used for several different purposes besides
divination.
They were used as a means of communication between people for messages,
accounting and of course for love letters, inscribed on staffs of wood
or similar.
You can even find examples of rune "graffiti" on statues from
the Middle East,
where some Viking once felt the itch to scribble his initials into the
marble. Rune stones convey a message

"About 75 Apaches and the US Calvary squared off against each
other in battle
on a mountain overlooking what is now Superior, Arizona in the 1870's.
Rather than face defeat, the outnumbered Apache warriors
rode their horses off the mountain to their deaths.
The families of the warriors cried when they learned of the tragedy.
Their tears turned into stone upon hitting the ground.
Today these beautiful translucent gemstones are known as Apache Tears.
To us it's just a beautiful stone,
but to the Ancient Ones it's a frozen tear, lost in the sands of time.
